Weilding her prowess, skillsets & dedication, Shannon is a true conqueror of numbers

Unsure of what to do after high school, Shannon embarked on a culinary adventure by enrolling in the Chef Training program at Cambrian College in Ontario. After a practicum at the Chateau Lake Louise, she realized that her true passion lay elsewhere. Switching gears, Shannon dove into a career in administration, kicking off a 15-year journey through various roles across multiple industries.

Shannon’s administrative prowess has seen her excel as the Quality Assurance Manager in the collections department of a major credit card company, serve as an Administrative Supervisor for a Calgary-based distribution company, and manage a multimillion-dollar portfolio of condominium corporations as a Condo Manager. Throughout her diverse career, Shannon has always been drawn to the world of numbers, budgets, AR/AP, and reconciliations.

Shannon joined the KBS team in late 2019. In just a few short years, she impressively transitioned from a data entry/junior bookkeeper role to becoming one of our senior bookkeepers. Her expertise and dedication saw her receive her Certified Professional Bookkeeper accreditation in 2023 and she has also earned the roles of Onboarding Specialist and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Shannon’s journey at KBS is a testament to her remarkable skills and commitment to excellence.

When Shannon isn't putting numbers in their place at the KBS office, you'll find her volunteering as a board member, in the capacity of Treasurer, for the Leduc Downtown Business Association or cozying up on the couch with her trusty beagle Finnigan, binge-watching Netflix like it's an Olympic sport.
